I wish I'd known all this before I went to a New York Yankees vs Chicago White Sox game in the Yankees stadium last August. I was baffled throughout the game as I really had no idea what was going on. Fortunately one of my American friends was there to help out with the explanations from time to time.
(By the way the Chicago White Sox won 10 - 1. It was apparently the worst Yankees game in a very long time)

P.S. I ate the best hot dogs at the Yankee stadium I've ever eaten in my life!!!
