The convenor of the cake competition i.e. myself AR1 has lived in an English speaking country all her life!!. I must admit I was not as eagle eyed as you with the different terminology mainly because it is one of my favourite cakes and I used to make it every week.! But thank you so much for having generated so much interest and discussion. It can only lift the level of the entries up enormously. What are you going to enter.? I hope your favourite cake recipe.
