It would be good (would it not) if the Hobbit was made into a film and we could see the great dragon Smaug on top of his heap of gold and treasure.

yeah it would be cool but I can understand why it has not been due to how complicated and expensive it would be to make it.Also i believe that LOTRs is much much much much much much better that the hobbit anyway so I'm not really bothered
