what about Kercheifs,
the big squares of cloth that you fold in half and tie round your neck,
every tv cowboy has one, a lot of bikers wear them, i personally own one which i wear oftern,
they are like ties that have a use, they can be drawn up to couver the mouth and nose (to help when robbing banks) they can be used to polish your bike or keep flys from splatting in your mouth,
you can put things in them and tie people up with them.
they have many advantages,
but the greatest advantage is they can be given to suicidal people,
i have tried (unsuccessfully) to hang myself with a tie before, but i could never hang myself with my kercheif, there is simply not enough material to tie on to someting and still go round a neck,
that is why ties will die; suicide
