There are a couple of errors I noticed:

Under the sub-heading,'How do people get shingles?', there is a 'brackets within brackets, in which onre closing bracket is missing, i.e '....ganglia (a kind of 'junction box' of nerves beside the spine along sensory nerves (probably spread in Schwann cells of the nerve sheath)'.

The second is under the sub-heading, 'Testing the Shingles Vaccine'. The U.S. 'Dept of Veterans Affairs' should be the 'Dept of Veterinary Affairs'.

Great entry BigAl smiley - biggrin

I thought I'd reply in this thread rather than a new one since I'd like to suggest that the description of the virus types (just after introduction) would read much more easily in a boxed table than without any such delineation.

Hi BigAl,

This is a really good entry.

Is it possible to add something at this late stage? You don't mention Ramsay Hunt syndrome
