ooh good news. Even the shops that claim to have removed them from the checkouts still have them at checkouts because they offer them verbally. Then they get out a load, and what's not used just sit there.

My local co-op has even hung them back up on pegs because the staff get fed up with fetching them when people ask.

Simply removing them altogether is a much better idea.
