A Conversation for How to Build a Snow Lantern

Wind and things

Leo

Great entry! I did this with my 4 and 6 year old nephews who flew in from the Middle EAst. First time they saw snow, and it wasn't good for snowmen. (Too stiff and icy.) Luckily I remembered this entry, and we made a lantern instead.

one problem we ran into was wind. We had to fill in the big chinks with small bits of ice and snow to keep it from getting blown out.

Cool!smiley - cool

Ah yes, the wind - another reason why a tea candle is better than an ordinary candle is that you don't have to fill in the gaps so high...smiley - smiley
