Not to worry, Canada will be fine!

Honestly, every time aliens attack, they avoid Canada. You never see the CN tower under attack by slimy, green aliens. Just doesn't happen. The aforementioned statements are true of all other end of the world scenarios depicted in movies. Canada will remain unscathed! Of course, if the rest of the world is gone, where will we get bananas? But it's not half as cold up here as everyone is so misinformedly inclined to believe. It is Novemeber 15th and the temperature was 16C (about room temperature.) Sure it's not Florida, but then again, we don't get many tornados either. Forgive me, I digress (I think I spelled that wrong.) Anywho, next time you watch a climatic movie that ultimately ends in Bruce Willis saving the world, watch for the Canadians!!!! (Actually, I think we are briefly mentioned in Armaggeddon, but probably not.) Concerning the ice age, I must interject the thought that Canada had a huge ice age. It's the reason our First Nations people came here (land bridge.) They survived. Nuclear attacks might be a little annoying, but who would be aiming for us, eh? Nuclear winter can't be much worse than a Winnipeg winter, hahaha. So enjoy your end of the world, we'll be fine. luv, a Canadian

You know, you might be right, come to think of it...

Maybe the opposite is also the case! Maybe Canada is causing all this stuff in the first place! Not in my back yard, etc. etc...

Anyway, you rarely see Ireland being mentioned in world disasters either, so we are probably in league with you some way or other. Is the fact that we are at the same latitude to you a coincidence or some evil conspiracy? smiley - smiley

Yes, it sounds like a conspiracy. We're probably psyching the Americans and the rest of the world out or something. Or maybe we're the aliens? We wouldn't attack ourselves, makes sense. Good call on Ireland, it's never mentioned in disaster movies either. I look forward to our mutual world domination/survival of large events.
I probably need to take my pills now,

what to worry about is human itself , if there were no speces as intellegence as human , the earth would have been a more peaceful a real paradize at all , the real hazard is on human own , not from comet or black hole or other , how can the individual person stop the figure on botton ?
