Whilst doing the research for my Entry on 'Ideas for Small Herb Gardens' at A34001470, I came across that Culpeper was well aware of the medicinal properties of parsley, including that fried parsley applied to the breasts of suckling mothers takes away any hardness.
Regrettably, I couldn't include that there 
as I would then have had to go into the medicinal properties of all the other herbs, so I thought I'd share that little gem here
