I do believe Mr Fry is looking through a Census book there, or Church Records, so I suspect the pic is from his ancestral tracings in Series Two of the BBC show 'Who Do You Think You Are?'

Was that when he discussed his mother's Jewish ancestry and then found that one of his uncles had been in the SS? Or did I completely fabricate that? (I know his mother was Jewish, though.)
