The profits shown by big oil this year are obscene. they say they are in line with other industries and necessary.
It seems the government is powerless to stop them because their whole economy is powered by petroleum based products.
We thought we would be in trouble if oil reached fifty dollars a barrel.
then it reached sixty, then seventy. then passed one-hundred!
