A Conversation for Roman Roads and Bridges

Recorded Lectures

I am also fascinated by the history of the Roman Empire, going so far as to buy a series of lectures (I got video, also on cassette, CD and DVD)from The Teaching Company - www.teachco.com. The lecturer is Garrett Fagan, a Dublin native and history professor at Penn State Univ. Forty-eight half hour lectures altogether, quite a detailed exploration. Even at that length, Prof. Fagan explains early on that there is a LOT we don't know about the Romans, particularly the early days, due to lack of records. He said it is like trying to view the Louvre Museum by peeking through the keyholes. smiley - winkeye
