| This is me as of 02-19-2008... I used to live in Brevard, North Carolina; I have lived in Brooklyn, NY for almost two years, now. I am 30 years old and work at one of the world's largest used book stores. My future plans involve a career in comics and/or storyboards and conceptual design for film. I've gotten a few jobs doing RPG illustrations and concept art for some indie movies...slow going, but making progress. I was raised Baptist Christian, used to consider myself a Satanist...see my article on the guide...and, though I still respect that philosophy, I claim no religion as my own. I'm mostly interested in comparative religion and Chaos Magic, and I've most recently been intrigued by Buddhist writings. If you don't believe in magic, then simply look over this portion and write me off as a loony. I won't mind.  Most of my friends seem to be a collection of folks who, for some screwed-up reason or another, find me entertaining or interesting. I love them dearly, often to the point of being more like family than my actual relatives. I tend to be brutally honest, abrasive, and entertained by several things most people find "distasteful." I try to be a kind, caring and open person to anyone who returns the same, or anyone I think truly needs it. At the same time, I have a short fuse when it comes to idiots and emotional "parasites."
