(Jan 5, 2003)Watch out, everyone-I'm back on H2G2 after a two-week-long Christmas/New Year's sabbatical. I'm feeling the need for some company in this post-winter-holiday letdown season, so let it be known that if you post to me and don't get a reply within a week, you have the right to digitally spit in my eye. Oh, that's right...no spitting. Well, I guess you'll just have to yell like everyone else. By the way, over the vacation I began a new feature of this space: The Word Files, a rambling, unfocused diary-cum-worldly exploration of my adventures in Bill Gates' best work-with entries published at irregular intervals. Got the  today (it's a beauty), and have been hanging lights and ornaments. Whee! My  has been sniffing around. In H2G2 news, the redesign of my P.S. is #1 priority.
