Who is Online
Hello
I am just introducing myself and purpose for being here with you guys.

I found H2G2 during my rounds on the interspace that is Noesis Forums, where the kind guys and girls inhabited our basement, starting some rather interesting discussions and thought I would really like to hang out some more with them.

So here I am, a 24 year old from Yorkshire, England.

Feel free to ask questions :P

The influx of hootooers onto Noesis (basement) (Oct 18, 2011)
Well we always knew that someone somewhere existed under H2G2 as it said so on your profiles, but until the day you officially came out and into the basement.

The knowledge of your existence was somewhat disturbing at times as you would post, but with no identification of who you were or where you came from... Kind of like knowing the Bogey man lives under your bed, or giant spiders under the couch.

The appearance in our basement was rather random and appeared to happen overnight, literally, one minute you weren't there and the next you were but you still remained ever elusive. You were, until we further understood you, like aliens, people who started random topics out of nowhere and partook in the most random of discussions about a plethora of things, but feeling as though you had brought some home comforts to the basement. The alien idea soon diminished as you made yourselves known and fully explained to those of us non-hootooers what H2G2 was about and the principles behind its creation.

In fact I believe it got a few of us there mods hooked and tantalised with tales of exotic travels, stories and the ever mentioned towel (which I did remember to pick up on my way over). I posted a few times, making random comments as is such that my mind works and you stayed with us, waking up the board and provoking some rather deep discussions (though logging off on an evening and not going back on until mid afternoon left a huge backlog on particularly interesting debates, such as the edit button which I am accustomed to on Noesian shores.

*looks around for Clive* Can I have a choc and a tea please?

Well alas, the journey you have endured to end up at this new and shiny site has been tough, but for me it has been a perfect joy, and thank you all for welcoming some of us along on this journey smiley
