The goals I suffered For for Years and years Should I heed what I swore Was I just young Or can I allow all that to take second place for the time being? Doing so would mean that I suffered in vain? Not doing so would mean that I am blind to reality? No matter what I do, I hurt myself. There's me and my beloved Naak, laying in bed and she notices a protruding nose-hair of mine. After prodding it for a bit and driving me nuts with the tickles she announces that she has decided to call it "Klaus-Dieter". Later she changed her mind and the name to "Hernando". In the sense of "Hairnando" as she informs me. Could have been "Heirnando" or "Harenando", too. Then she adopted my single nose-hair ... errr, I mean Hernando. If it follows her home, she can keep it... Click here to discuss this (4 replies, Latest reply: May 3, 2004) What is the most ... Especially those who I didn't contact for over two years and who then suddenly want to see me (after flying around half the globe to do so). And then you pick up the conversation as if nothing had happened in between. Just wonderful. Thanks. Both correctors gave me a "magna cum laude". So, I'll have the oral exam soonish and can then start looking for someone to publish my work. This rocks! It would have been nice to take a gimpse back at how the site was back then. Amazing ... all those things I never fully understood about the site ... and the things that changed in these four years. (Jul 9, 2003) ... into this journal. Maybe it's slightly off and slightly twisted. It could involve the Siamese twins that died during the operation and Matthew 19:6. Would I post something like that? And so I started this rather loose series some time ago. Here, now, is part two.Well, I would really like to introduce you to the "if you have 15 titles, there still is no need to display them all"-category... but these people are easily identifiable and I don?t want to raise any trouble. So I will present one out of the category of "Oh, c?oooooooon... get over it" or "You never left the party, eh?". Translated version with [annotations] and {censored bits} ... starting ... now! I had a comrade ... [Just the first line of one of those rather well known Nazi songs] We grief for our {honorary upper echelon member} {...} Colonel of the reserve, retired Bearer of the Knight?s Cross of the Iron Cross with the {number}th Oak leaves and other decorations of valour We owe a lot to him and will commemorate his name in honour. The Tradition Community Of German Tank Forces Ok, wellllll... thank you for pointing that out. I am sure that there are a lot of people who will not forget him or at least his deeds. For those of you how know (about) me, you might know that I've been working on it like forever. And now it is all done. In some very late night and early morning shifts, as these things tend to be. Statistics: 237 pages, 71897 words, 372008 characters (not counting blanks) ... all those figures include the list of literature etc. Yeeeeeeeeeha! </> Click here to discuss this (25 replies, Latest reply: Jun 30, 2003) Ok, own up! Who of you useless ... (May 27, 2003) people took my razor?! I mean, hey!? It was there on Thursday morning and it's gone on Saturday. Who would nick a two year old (admittedly not really cheap) electrical razor? The female flatmates deny all knowledge, as do the boys. ARGH! And I found that I cannot get near enough with vacuum cleaner. There are just too much books and 20 (full) lever arch files on the floor... what should I do? to h2g2 and write a journal entry?
