The subject pretty much sums up how I've been feeling this week I just feel big and round and slow walking (waddling) any distance causes discomfort and pain around the groin area (too much information?) which lasts generally the rest of the day and night, rolling over in bed is not fun Thank goodness there isn't long left The cot is finally up, although i do need to get a new mattress for it, cravings seem to extend to almost anything sweet (frys Turkish delight ) although I've been eating a lot more perhaps I need the calcium they say the last few weeks is all about baby putting on weight, well it sure feels that way! I've got another midwifes appointment on the 19th although i'm secretly hoping that bump will come early this time I also doubt this will happen Ugh generally I've reached the stage where i am tired, I'm tired of being pregnant and not being able to see my waist any more I'm tired of people (including the midwife ) commenting on how pregnant I amI'm tired of being tired and achy and the mood-swings, oh am I ever tired of the mood-swings still... not long to go now... Anthea
I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling uncomfortable, this last stretch, well, it really is a stretch isn't it I really hope Umbrella isn't late
Oh, that was a bit harsh - using the word 'stretch' twice in that post. It probably doesn't need rubbing in. Ahem. Geggs
Thanks Geggs (almost typed greegs you must get that a lot) and peanut, although there was all together too much stretching
sorry, two stretches in the one post probably was a push too far
Well, 'greegs' not so much; 'greggs' does tend to pop up a bit, though, whoever that is. Geggs
for peanut
just making toad in the hole for dinner, with a teaspoon full of grainy mustard in the batter and home made onion gravy must be having a 2legs moment
How many weeks are you now?
er 36 or 37 I have managed to stay clear of sweets today, although i have just eaten four plums and a peach.... well fruit is good for you
I deserved the I haven't had toad in the hole for ages think I'll have it on Sunday
I've never heard of toad in the hole before, I looked it up, sounds interesting.
I forget sometimes what a multinational community this isand also that toad in the hole is a very uk dish great for sundays when you don't want a full roast dinner or any other time when you feel the need for what is essentially sausages cooked in savoury pancake batter
"I just feel big and round and slow" just think of the pleasure of getting to this state though
Prof! your not meant to mention that bit
<smirks>it's only what I've heard, as it's a distant memory now
