It is probably a mistake to even ask but ... why specifically John Le Carré? Other people have wanted religious/political figures or Carol Smiley (because she's especially smiley but mostly just because).

Any chance of somebody designing a teacher smiley? Should be quite easy/identifiable with a mortar board
