That's probably the inhabited place in the world that's the most different from the place where I live! South Africa, near the Tropic of Capricorn, where I've never even seen snow in my life!
One niggle - I'm guessing that 90% of the country is at or above 150 m above sea level, not exactly at 150 m!

There's also a quite active golfclub up there, though the season is short

I am from California U.S. and have played golf at the Narvik Golf Club in Skomenfjord, 35 K SE of Narvik. On the last weekend in June there is a 24 hour/72 hole competition named the Arctic Open. Try it in 2007, my brave and hardy golf friends. See you there.
