One of the things I did before passing on the update was to reduce the slight recorder-bashing in the introduction. Looking at it now, I would like to remove one more phrase in the third paragraph: , to replace the recorder Should I get in contact with the sub-ed or wait for them to contact me?
Normally it would be best for you to contact the sub-ed, as not all sub-eds contact the author when they are sub-editing, particularly if the entry is very straightforward and well written. In this case, I'll make that change now, to save you the trouble.
I've done that. The copy which will be given to the sub-ed to work on is A87744027, so you can keep an eye on that if you like and see who gets it.

No such link to click, on my Brunel, that I could find. Is it one of these? More Conversations | Click here to be notified of new Conversations about this Guide Entry Doesn't seem likely.
The link you want is in fact "Click here to be notified of new Conversations about this Guide Entry". The "Subscribe" link only appears in Barlesque/Pliny. I'll modify the text of the Announcements page.

No, but every time they make an announcement, they add it as a conversation on the page, as well as changing the text of the page. So you'll see that new conversation.
