Subject: Have you been getting failure notices from the Post?
Posted Jan 4, 2012 by Post Team
Post: 1

Ahem. Bel says I shouldn't be so sensitive. It isn't that people don't read my editorials (she says). It's that people are having Senior Moments (she says).

I will pretend I believe this. whistle

Just so you update your contacts list: The current email for thepost is postteamhg - at- gmail - dot - com.

Why did we have to change it? Google, bless their little cotton socks. We were informed that the Post was 'not old enough to have a gmail address'. We were required to provide Proof of Age. Somehow, Shazz and Bel couldn't get through to them.

We took the easy way out, and got us a brand-new gmail account (and pretended we were grownups).

So...

If you want to send us Stuff (of course you do, you KNOW you do), send it to postteamhg - at- gmail - dot - com.

Or click on 'Email the Post Team' on the Post FP.

Now, did I forget anything? Where are my glasses? On my face, you say? Well...senior ...

Thx, guys,

DG
dragon

My father's coffee was so strong that when my mother drank a single cup while she was pregnant with my sister, the baby got arrhythmia and had to be checked every day for the next few weeks...

It doesn't seem to affect everyone. Or else it's that my entire maternal family is prone to low blood pressure.

But my mom's famous quote was, 'Coffee won't do anything but run your kidneys.' laugh

Ah, wouldn't have noticed, since I'm currently locked out of my gmail account. Last time that happened, somebody had phished my password - this time around, somebody seems to have tried to log on with a faulty password (probably the same one, as if I'd be stupid enough not to change it) too many times.

*scribbles down the new contact e-mail address with good old fashioned pen and paper*

Difficult to know, since I still can't log on... I think it took about 2 weeks last time I was locked out to get things sorted.

groan I'm sorry to hear that, Titania. Do you have a non-gmail account? If so, could you send us a mail to the new address from there, and we'll add that email to the googlegroup?

Firstly my apologies for questions - the first (and only) post submission before this was made 6 months after i joined h2g2, having recently celebrated my third birthday (yes i know i'm still a youngling)
and needing to submit an entry, not a set of text, to the post - how do i do so?

But thank you for this journal dealing with the email address, i was getting confused

You can send us your contribution at postteamhgATgmailDOTcom. smiley

If it's text, you can send us a Word document or Notepad or Wordpad file.

If it's a picture, please send it as a .jpg. Try to keep to size down to 400 x 400 pixels or less.

If you want to just post it on h2g2 and send us the A-number, you can do that.

Anything else you needed to know?
