Further suggestions for the use of Public Transport.

Use operators that offer Evening and Sunday services, while they are in it for the money, they are also socially responsible.

Use operators that publish timetable and route information. One of the problems with deregulation is that some operators don't because their services are often not what they have registered to do.

Use operators who display a Fleetname and "legal lettering". This means that if there is an problem that you will be able to contact them.

Use operators whose staff are well presented. Operators who do not bother about their drivers smoking at work are to be avoided.

Non - bus users might think that this is for outside Gt. Britain. Wrong, this is for the UK. Come to West Central Scotland to see who not to travel with.
