I'm new around here, and my vocabulary is weak, and I'm not too sure what I'm doing here but after having just read the entry, I felt like making a comment...
in future I would love to be known as Rosie-the-Wlonk, love it!
Hi rosie, and welcome to h2g2
Did you follow the link to the other article about wlonks? If not, then you can find it at A52006565.
I think wlonk is a brilliant word, and I'd love to see it reinstated into modern English
Great entry, Icy. I like that is easier to read and doesn't require as much of my mind as your quizzes do. But it must mean I'm as lazy excercising my mind as I am my body ---but I need to stop this as I really don't want to get dementia. So keep them coming. This is the sort of thing that makes English the world language - I can't think that any other language could handle all of this.
Thank you Elektra. I'm really pleased you enjoyed it, and really appreciate your kind words.
Yes, I love writing about absurd things, and there's nothing more so than our language.
Nice piece! Thanks!
You've answered a couple of questions
that have haunted me for years.
Was one of them "Is Icy North sane?"
well...from what I've read so far........
