Someone asked me a question about something some time ago and I can't remember who it was, nor can I find the question to answer it.

If it was any of you, please give me a kick and ask me again. I do know it was to do with visiting somewhere, and a potential Guide Entry.

If you know who it was, point me in their direction.

If I have been ignoring you - I am sorry! wah

"question about something some time ago"

Quick, take your opportunity to ask Lanza any question you can think of

...nothing witty comes to mind for me, and so i will ask why that is the case?

Nothing to do with César Manrique or Cochineal, by any chance?

biro Cochineal and Manrique <tick>

No it wasn't either of those but they are on my list, I would be happy to collaborate, I like bugs particularly, and Manrique is my hero

I think I can manage on the Cochineal one, but I'd probably need some help on Manrique. I only visited about 90% of his work on Lanzarote.

LB >>> "in that case als this is for you <--- often known as the loobrush"

LOL a bunch of flowers MAY help clean a LOO (and personally, i doubt it) but the poor ol' laminate flooring needs a good ironing to dry it out and unwarp it!!!!

2L >>> "Where do babies come from? I'm sure... thjat was the question."

hah - that's easy!

according to this book i read:

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus...

...and babies are from a little place out near Uranus

Simples! biggrin

petunias for als winkeye

I remembered who it was! (Mol) I hope she will forgive me for not replying for FIVE WEEKS! as I said, Sheesh.

Did you hear that if you go around your house saying the name of the thing you are looking for out loud it helps you to find it quicker? What will scientists investigate next I wonder?

Will they help me remember what it was that I went into a room to look for in the first place?

I've heard that if athletes act out the steps and movements of their their race in their head, it improves their performance, although not as much as physically running the race.

"Did you hear that if you go around your house saying the name of the thing you are looking for out loud it helps you to find it quicker?"
- Is that because your partner/and or everyone else gets fed up of you constantly saying 'Car keys, car keys, car keys' and pass you the wretched things?

indeed so BB! tea

I also read this article yesterday which seems to prove that people who read fiction are able to empathise better - also it helps children to develop empathy better if their parents read to them while they are very young.

As I like murder mysteries and detective novels, do I empathise well with psychopaths and victims? huh run tongueincheek

>>Will they help me remember what it was that I went into a room to look for in the first place?<< You have to go back from where you came and start again. That is supposed to help you remember what you had gone to the room for in the first place. It often works for me. senior

I'd agree, however much i think about running I still can't win that 100m Olympic gold without moving my legs winkeye

...though come to think of it, i don't think that would help me much either wah
