I got a space pen for Christmas a few years ago, and naturally went around writing on everything I could find. And I found one incident where the pen did NOT work - and it wasn't even upside down or in deep space! I tried to write on a piece of waxed paper submerged in Coca-Cola a centimeter deep, and it didn't write! I was so disappointed!
