For some reason, I just had a rather vivid daydream in which I won £3000 to spend on cds, dvds and books on amazon. As pleasant as this was, it was rather inconvenient as I'm supposed to be working, so hopefully writing down my list will stop me thinking about it! If this invites discussion over my choices, so much the better. Don't worry about a money limit, I didn't add these up or anything. Choices are limited to cds, dvds and books! 
I really didn't want to know this, but advertising works - the new Maroon 5 album is called 'It won't be soon before long'  Si javais l'argent, j'acheterais: Music: Muse (assuming, that is, that there's something they've produced that I haven't already come across) Er... that's it  DVDs ----- Boxsets: House Scrubs Green Wing [spooks] Individual films: Every single Bond except for Chicken Royale Fahrenheit 9/11 (still haven't seen it) Casablanca, which I must say I despair at never having seen Stalker Books: Everything by Tom Clancy, Douglas Adams, Tony Hawks (the cool one, not the skateboarder  )Several books about how to write Can't think of anything else I'd want to buy - sorry, I'm male.  Some good choices there! I should definitely add the Hitchhiker's "trilogy" to my list, since I don't have them and have only read them once. (Seriously, why does the box set in shops not include the final book? Madness!)I like Casino Royale.  I don't think it's the best Bond film, but I liked it.Casablanca is amazing! <applaude> your taste for Tony Hawks!
I'm just not a great fan of Daniel Craig - he's not the sort of Bond I would imagine based on either the books or the previous films. Oh, and the fact that Casino Royale, the first Bond story as far as I know, is full of all sorts of 21st Century stuff kind of betrays all the great films in which Bond battles with the Soviet Union and so forth.
