Okay, it's happened. My page is now officially Something, rather than just a complete waste of time. Okay, I lied.

First of all, I'll introduce myself. I'm Cutlery, a resident (although not native) Scot. I'm 15 and I go to a school which has a lot of good features and a lot to complain about.

Here are some of my friends, in no particular order:Lisa, Jinx, Tweetie, Quorthon, Gizmo

Societies wot I am involved with

The Freaks

Are you strange? Insane, even? Then join the Freaks, that we may do things! And stuff.

The Angels

I recently became the Patron Saint of Cutting Remarks, and I have been commanded by GOD Himself to deflate the egos of those that need and deserve it!

You Finish The Story

This is a game I created. Basically it's a multi-author fictitious literary improvisation. If you want to find out what I mean, then click that link that's just screaming for mouse cursors.

Oh my GOD, I'm responsible!

That's right - I'm the guardian angel of Zarniroop. Go visit his page and be nice to him, so I can just put my feet up and let you do all the work.

A Random Monty Python Quote
"So, remember when you're feeling very small and insecure,
How amazingly unlikely is your birth?
And pray that there's intelligent life, somewhere up in space,
'Cause there's bugger all down here on earth."

And stuff

Yeah. This is where I put current thoughts that are too temporary for the journal.

I ought to make this page good.

Against all odds, I feel happy. Hmm.

Politics (Jul 11, 2000)
Actually, there's a lot of sense in the theory that modern democracy is flawed because in order for someone to get power, they have to want power, and anyone who wants power should not be in a position to wield it.

I think that being in power should be obligatory to everyone, sort of like jury duty, and that party whips should be made illegal due to the fact that they take power from the backbenchers (the representatives of the constituencies and therefore the people) and give it to the party leaders (the representatives of the party). This means that only a small minority of the people - that is, party members - are represented in parliament.

And if noone replies to something as controversial as this, I will scream! bigeyes

Classical Music (Jun 5, 2000)
Why does noone seem to listen to this anymore? Or read? Think about it. Almost all of the music that reaches the top 10 these days will be forgotten in half a year. Classical music has withstood the centuries.

Besides, everyone knows they love the 'dance of the sugar plum fairy' and the 'blue danube', even if they don't know which song goes with those titles. bigeyes You don't know either? I'll hum it for you.

Depression (cont'd) (May 29, 2000)
One month on. I still love Helen. I think about her all the time. The strangest things remind me of her - isometric circles (ellipses), pianos, statuettes, roundabouts, James Bond films... need I go on?

I feel awful, and inadequete sadface
