Hello, thanks for popping in. cheers

So, about me then, well I'm old enough to remember 'Trumpton' and young enough to love 'Bear in the big blue house, tho I don't hold much truck with age.'

I love music, all sorts, Bowie, Gray, Coldplay, Floyd, Queen, Van Morisson, Marillion, Lynyrd Skinyrd the list goes on and on, but at the mo U2 is being played to death.

I work, I'm sort of the head cook and bottle washer at the best chippie on the Essex coast.

I have a wonderfull daughter, she is a mature 7 year old, inteligent, beautiful, and very wise, with a memory like an elephant!

I like to think I'm a bit of a Jack of all trades - tho' probably master of none! I can turn my hand to many things and am always making or painting.I collect odd things, driftwood, glass, stones, I love the beach tho not to sunbathe, it's natures continualy changing canvas.

I'm a naturaly messy, cakeandbiscuitaholic, amature gardener, a rat lover, a bad speller, quite anoying, very sarcastic, usualy harrassed, sometimes depressed, demi-vegetarian, novice computer user.
THATS ME! I make no apologies.biggrin

christmas 2005 (Dec 27, 2005)
Well thats another one gone. Not too bad, i think it might be the first one I have cooked in our house, we've been here 14 years!
Litlun got treated to her own computer, bit much prehapse but she has been patient through the 'debt years' and deserves a treat.
Hisnibs bought me a digital camera which I wasnt expecting, v nice.
Mum came down for the day and we took her to sis's boxing day, which again makes a change 'cause we usualy spend christmas with hisnibs family and Mum chooses to stay on her own.
Its boxing day night and tomorrow I know I'll be itching to take down the decs. They went up late 'cause I got the flu so I wont be allowed. I'll try Jan 1st. cant see the point of keeping them up in the new year.
Supposed to snow tonight, drove through some showers on the way back from Suffolk. Should go and see inlaws if it doesnt. Got kitchen to finish decorating and litluns bedroom to muck out if it does.
Want to go to town tomorrow and see what sales are on too, mustn't spend to much, we've had a splurge now we must be carefull.

At last, we now owe nobody nothing (exept the mortgage)(and my grammar teacher) bubbly somersault applause .
The money we have -what there is of it,- is ours, to do with what we want, without anyone saying "excuse me, half of that is ours".

RIP Bob, he was a beautiful fish with a personality.

The cars are doing a relay in and out of the garage, the AA are fed up with being called out, the freezer is piddling all over the floor, the washing machine sounds very dodgey, and today the cooker started making a funny noise. The world is crumbling round my ears.

September (Sep 13, 2005)
Had hols last month, curtesy of Ma, couldnt afford it otherwise.Unfotunately the poor old car started smoking and curled up its tyres and died by the side of the motorway on the way home. 6 hours and 5 AA men later us the caravan and demised car got home.
Went out to find a bargain basement car, found a Mondeo, went back the next day to pick it up, got 1/4 mile up the road, and had to phone the AA. 3 weeks its been in the garage, they have had no idea what has ben wrong with it, until today when they had traced the fuel system right back to the tank, know what it was?... leaves in the tank! I ask you, leaves in the tank, leaves on the line was bad enough but in the fuel tank!! Ahh, anyway might get it back tomorrow.
Littluns started junior school, and likes it(hurray)Went to football practice today and liked that too, so its looking good.
I'm still strugling with tiredness, not sure what to do now.
Both out neighbours are moving, I HOPE we get decent people move in, I don't think I could cope with arseholes.
Might have finances sorted by next month. Wont be any better of, but our money will be our own, and we wont owe anything.
