There are many topics I wish to discuss and these all stem from my few years on earth learning things, listening to people, reading , seeing, touching, smelling, and so on. Ideas are formed by adding the information we gather from around us together with a thought process. Some ideas sound wierd and some wierd ideas sound very reasonable. I would say that any idea we can form has some merit, even if it is an idea we would discount immediately, as one we do not subscribe to. This is the third ingredient which allows us to grow as a people. We can take information from our surroundings, our own thoughts and ideas and, ideas from others (unless copyrighted) to build new and more complete conclusions. Just a thought.

Evolution of a site (Aug 13, 1999)
When I first logged onto the h2g2 site I found my greeting a bit imposing.
The quality of the writing and the way it was presented made me feel very unworthy of ever having anything published on this site.
Of course this is not true because you can write whatever you want to here and others can view it, and this is a very important point because the most valuable resource we humans have is our mind, thoughts and ideas, whatever they may be.
I still dare not submit a journal entry yet but I must admit I feel more confident in my actions due to the flavour of the h2g2 site now.
Something has changed and the site now feels friendlier and warmer, a bit like standing in front of an open fire in an English pub with a pint in hand and the chilly day light-years away on the other side of the window.

So I am going to write whatever I like because quality is in the eye of the beholder.

Wicked Book (Jun 3, 1999)
I am a bit hesitant about writing this particular entry but it says we should write what we think about life, the universe and everything.
I an reading an excellent book at the moment called Cosmic Voyage by Courtney Brown. It is about how he and his students use Remote Viewing to gather details about ET interaction with humans, how our Galaxy is run and some details about the meaning of life.
A very excellent book which is causing myself to think twice about being rude to other people and making me respect life a bit more, It is good in the way that you can believe the findings, totally disregard the findings and have a good laugh, or learn Remote Viewing yourself and see if it is true.
The author has a web site with a FREE book on it on how to teach yourself these methods. I have not found any other web site with something like this for free. That is why I believe this guy. (www.farsight.org)
I don't care what people think but I thought I would put this in my jornal anyway.

A small snippet, or A cut above the rest (May 26, 1999)
Wednesday the 26th of May 1999. Hello peoples of this and other worlds. My life was boring until I cut my thumb last night while cutting onion which was to go into a delicious home made hamburger.
It didn't bother me too much at the time except for the pain. You know how onions make your eyes water, well this one make my thumb and forefinger cry. I think my forefinger was upset my thumb had been injured as they are good friends, and it too is emitting a pain signal.
'Not to worry' I said and slapped a band aid on it and continued on with the nights activities of making dinner and entertaining a guest who was over. We were trying to solve a computer related hardware problem and were unsuccessful for the night. In the end I put it down to my thumb being cut and as such taking up 5-10% of my attention which I would otherwise have used for the problem at hand. Now it is the day after and the cut on the tip of my thumb is not closing.. I think I need a butterfly stitch.
