You can click here to see who's online. Hi,
I am wsfn (please all small letters). I currently reside in a rather abysmal city in the midwest, United States of America, Earth, Alpha Quadrant (AKA the dirtier arm of the Spiral Galaxy).
Multisylabism is a favorite hobby - along with anything to do with Douglas Adams, Star Trek, 7 Days, Jackie Chan, Kathryn Hepburn, Hitchock films, Reel Big Fish, etc..
You can find more about me at my web page here.
Thanks for listening.

(Aug 16, 1999)
Now you have to realize that I am completely comfortable with bats in their natural environs. I enjoy spelunking, I have sat outside watching them feed in the air or from a lake. They are nice little harmless creatures.
NOT IN MY LIVINGROOM! Friday evening I was lounging on my couch, watching television, reading some homework - 10:00 pm, mind you - and suddenly, there was this bat flying around my head! All the doors and windows had beed closed for days, it was hot outside. The last time my door had been open even near evening was three days previous. It took my an hour, and some very nervous minutes when it dissapeared (I don't know where), but I finaly encouraged it out the door and into the night.
Do you think the police would have laughed at me if I called to tell them, I was afraid to go into my house (where the bat and my sleeping children were), if I had not been able to get rid of it? I'm a BAD mommy. I panicked. Did get rid of it (without harming the little flying rodentia, by the way).
Have a lovely day,
