Although thought to be a being of an insectoid nature, or a very dull summer ball game played in the United Kingdom and her former colonies, the Crickett (spelt with two T's to differentiate) is actually a humanoid female of almost 3 decades life span. She does share some habits with the aforementioned insectoid and ball game. She enjoys sitting for long periods on her derriere (essential for the enjoyment of the game, apparently) though she does prefer something to do at the same time. She has also been known to rub her legs together and produce a humming sound when the temperature is high enough - but that is probably too much information.
As a humanoid she needs to "earn a living". This fact is of constant curiousity to more highly developed creatures, like the cat. They started out their evolutionary course trying to climb the career ladder, but decided they prefered trees and the legs of people they were not over keen on. Crickett is rapidly forming a similar opinion on the hopelessness of advancing her cutting edge and very exciting career as .... an Accountant. Crickett would like to point out that she is aware that she needs to get out more and hopes that H2G2 will aid this process.
Thank you for reading this introduction.

This is where any Journal Entries would appear, if this Researcher had made any. Unfortunately they haven't managed to write anything, which is a shame because their Journal is where they could tell everyone what they've been up to. Is your Journal empty too? If so, this is how it'll appear to other Researchers who visit your Personal Space.
