(Oct 18, 2011)
As above. Back in the UK after 2 years in Aus, almost got sponsored to stay but it fell through. So now I'm here, unemployed at my mum's house aged almost 29. Ouch.
Just been reading through a load of my old journal entries and cringing a lot... I was a maudlin cringey little b*stard wasn't I? GIRLSGIRLSGIRLS. Guess I just got older, but it took me well into my 20's for it to happen, most of it's what I'd expect from a teenager.
Anyway, I'm pretty happy and chilled these days, obviously life has it's ups and downs but that's just life innit! Click here to discuss this

Love isn't enough.
(May 19, 2008)
OK, ignoring the bravado of last week the reality is finally setting in.
No more Kim.
Which is shiote really. We both love each other, both want to be with each other, it's just that when we are with each other half the time it's perfect and the other half we're screaming at each other.
God knows we tried to make it work so much. And tried, and tried. We couldn't.
But that doesn't make it any easier knowing that. Knowing that she's missing me as Im missing her.
So to all you hopeless romantics who declare "Love shall conquer all!!!"
Well, what I have to say to that wouldn't get through the profanity filter of this place.
Because it doesn't conquer all.
And that really sucks. Click here to discuss this

The people of Burma
(Sep 26, 2007)
The story of Burma has always disgusted me, the story of Aung Sun Suu Kyi has always brought me close to tears for the strength and sacrifice of some people in the face of overwhelming oppression.
My thoughts are with the Burmese right now. If I was religeous I'd be praying for them, but I'm not, so my thoughts will have to do.
