Hello! I'm Simon the frog. Welcome to my lillypad.

I'm a computer programmer living in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England. I work for Widgit Software writing software for people with special needs. I mostly program in C++. I was 21 years old last time I updated this page. (That's 490 in frog years!) My lucky number is 65536.

Some of my favourite things in life are my Clavia Nord Modular (a synthesizer), Tofu (a type of food), Pokey the Penguin and [broken link - url removed by moderator] (really funny cartoons), my 2CV (a car), watching F1, my computer, beer, and caffeine. Oh, and cats, but i've just recently become allergic to them, which is most annoying. I used to be allergic to almonds but I grew out of that. Funny things, allergies.

I also like it when people email me, so feel free to send me some nonsense. I like nonsense.

I've been a Vegetarian since I was old enough to figure out where meat came from, and a vegan since 1999. I'm also a proud member of the H2G2 vegetarian society. The biggest problem facing vegan frogs today, is finding a source of meatfree flies.

Soon you should also be able to find me in the H2G2 Natural History Museum. I think Amy the Ant is just putting the finishing touches to my exhibit, but you should be able to visit me when it's complete. (Unsuprisingly, it takes a long time for an ant to shift all those lillypads.)

I've not been on here (h2g2) long, and already I'm addicted! Haven't had much time for doing entries yet, as I'm still finding new discussions to partitipate in all the time. No progress as yet on the Pokey the Penguin article, but I've written my first guide entry! My dad's (wonderful) recepie for spinach pasta stuff. MAKES MENTAL NOTE: "Deadlines are important.
