David Attenborough was on telly last night talking about Darwin.
There was a shot of the main entrance hall of the Natural History Museum, and the statue of Richard Owen.
I commented to my other half how I had always considered it a travesty that Owen's statue overlooked the great entrance, while Darwin was stuck out the back at ground level overlooking the cafe.
And then...
And then...
And then the picture changed. Some riggers were strapping up Owen's statue. Lifting it. Moving it. And replacing it with the one of Darwin.
There were tears in my eyes. There are again now.
