So, some of you lovely people will remember me from many, many, many moons ago - the pre-Beeb HooToo, back when those in the Tower loved us, and DNA dropped by for the occasional cuppa. Well, I, the Voice of Chaos, the Silent 7, have returned. And now that's all done we can get down to business. For those not in the know, I am currently living in Austin, TX, USA, and loving it for the most part. I have a crap job, but great co-workers. I am going back to school - at long last - and studying Forensic Psychology. I live with an orange tomcat, Eliot, who is a monster of epic proportions. Right now I'm getting the feel for the site again. It's been a while, but I'm glad to be home!

So, I got called at 7 this morning and asked to go to work for a meeting. In this meeting, I was told that I was being laid off.
I'm trying to stay positive, but it's a little hard today. I'll try again tomorrow.

2009 is going to be a good year. I've decided this.
In order to insure this I am going to make two commitments to myself - call them resolutions if you will: I will approach each day with a positive attitude and I will avoid reacting - or refusing to react - out of fear.
I have great expectations and mean to see them fulfilled.
