Updated: 3/4/2000 (minor update)

Researcher 116006 is Greek/American and lives in Athens, Greece (yes, the cradle of Democracy etc.) with his wife and daughter. He is a programmer for a software company, but his main interest is God (when he starts talking about Him he can't stop) to whom he tries to give as much of his time as possible (that's the main reason he's not writing as much as he wants to). He is not used to blab about himself in the third person because he thinks it's a sign of a disturbed mind (psychotic behavior, perhaps, or multiple personality disorder?). Anyway, he hopes to be able to contribute to h2g2 and asks in advance from everybody to forgive him whenever he is late in answering posts and comments (it will happen more often than not).

His strong points are:

  • Good knowledge of the Bible in Greek.
  • Knowledge of the history of the Church starting on the day of Pentecost (ever read World Pentecost? great on the subject, will be out soon).
  • Some knowledge of basic Christian doctrines from the days of the Apostles.
  • Access to more info regarding the early history of the church.
  • A lovely and beautiful wife.
  • Knowledge of C++ programming.
  • A Nokia 8210 mobile phone!

And now a word from '006 himself…

You will have to forgive my occasional Greek. Sometimes I can't readily translate to English, so I just jot it down in Greek. That may be in the Latin alphabet (approximating the pronunciation) or, all the worse, with actual Greek letters (I'll soon find out if it can be supported) which will be totally incomprehensible to those not familiar with Greek.

Articles considered
  • Something in the Religious areas, informative on the relationship of the basic doctrines of Christianity and various "paradoses" (that's pa?ad?se?? in Greek).
  • Something on the Greek language and it's importance in the New Testament.

Journal Entries (Mar 30, 2000)
Are these journal entries really any good?
Consider this a rhetorical question dear friends, or, if feel strong about the subject, give your arguments on why they are (or aren't) usefull.
