Avril was picked up by a canadian record company and designed as a "Punk". I've been through punk, and that ain't it!!
Neither are Good Charlotte (who I don't mind) or Green Day or any of that ilk. They are Pop-rock with weekend punk hair do's.
I've seen it before and in a few years you will see it happen again with a different face. Then you will know the true evil of all record companies and managers!! (I speak from experience, trust me)

Unfortunately, the world never gets bored with the concepts, just the individual practitioners. You are destined to see it again and again through out your life time! Avril is the last in a long line that began with the "Malcolm McLaren syndrome" and will not be the last....unfortunately! Look for this "Orrico" girl from the US, just another in the same line..Pink(Yeeeach!) is the same... on and on it goes! I wonder why I don't use radio's anymore? Could be to stop bashing my own brains in with it, just to stop the pain!
