Hi Elektra,

sorry, I didn't mean to ignore your post. My internet has just been playing up lately!

I'm going to visit my family after all - and pick up my armour, because I met a few good reenactment groups.

I went to a Viking reenactment today, they even burned a longship! And I met a nice girl there (ok, I met a *troll* who turned out to be a girl when I helped her get her mask off) that I made friends with instantly. She's invited me to join her gaming group - I hope it's at her house, because her family breeds miniature donkeys and Arabian horses! wow

Wow, that is cool . Glad you had a good time. I just want to go to the Mariposa, no joy here. IŽm worried that all my job contacts have moved on, some of them to the galaxy even which makes getting references a real pain.

It sounded like your mom was reall enthusiastic about that in any case the price is right!

Thanks for the hug. I hope youŽll enjoy your time home - hopefully they wonŽt make you clean things! That would be awful under the circumstances.

Hi Elektra. smiley

I did manage to buy wellies on Saturday. They're black, but with studded straps around them, like biker boots rofl Had to drive into Belfast today for my car tax. That was very annoying, they all drive like madmen and the pedestrians are no better! I usually leave the car at a railway station halfway there and just take the train in.

Better vote against those annoying politicians cross

hopefully the comics will do their work and make everyone too embarassed to vote for them. TheyŽll not have my vote but they take the place of people with a clue, so we all lose out anyway steam cross

Glad you got your wellies. When is your firedrill, tomorrow? Have fun.

I'm glad your ghosty business went well. Sorry about the Wales business. Hope your head and neck feel better soon. Maybe I should use a time machine and go peddle aspirin to Knights. But that sounds like a good way to end up being burned at the stake for being a witch.
Fair cop. Have a great day and grovel more AG please!

laugh Doesn't aspirin come from willow bark or something? You could just be a herbalist...

AG is in progress, but they keep making me work, which curbs my productivity cross

It's only a little two-burner stove, but I'm busy putting together a curry on it. smiley I've invited the rather odd Australians that're doing the Halloween lighting round for dinner. Nice people - and handy to know, one of them has a pony going spare...

There's a little breakfast bar thing, but I do have a table out in my main room. Just rearranged that area to suit. I can now lie on the sofa and stare out the window, my desk faces the window, too, and there's a little round café table and two chairs right in the window. And I hung a big drapey curtain over the bed to make it cosier. smiley
