Heres what I remeber.....King (-50), Rebbok(+100), Schneider (+17?), Me (+75), B Raper was around even or a little up...
and a side note...King is the worst card player in the world....
Drew
How the hell did you guys let Rubick win 100!? Shnieder is the one who bad beated a 150$ pot off me!
Allow me to explain, Alex, how I end up up so little money. In four hands, I essentially lose 90 dollars.
One hand: I have AK, I raise it to 5 dollars. King COLD CALLS 8-9 offsuit, and proceeds to flop two pair. The board is three hearts. I have a heart. I check, he bets 5 dollars, I call. Board comes another 8. He bets ten, I call. River, fourth heart, he bets ten, I call. Just like that, minus 30.
Hand two: I have AQ, raise it to 4 dollars. Goodson has read Kosker's book on defending the big blind and is already on tilt from King bad beating him anyway, so he calls with T7s. Flop comes Q87. He checks, I bet four, he calls. Turn comes. 6. He checks, I bet four, he raises another four, I call. River comes, 8. We both check. Minus 16.
Hand three: Reebock, from the button, makes it two dollars to go with Q9s. I've already seen Reebock make some weak raises before, and am on a blind with A6s, so I call. Flop comes A97. He bets 4, I call [am very much kicking myself for not raising]. Turn comes, Q. He bets 6, I call. River comes. 9. He bets 10, and as I call, I say outloud, "I assume we're going to be chopping..." Yeah, didn't expect a runner runner boat to appear. Ship it Reebock. Minus 22.
Hand four: I have Q5 on the blind, and it's a limping party. Flop comes Qxx, with two hearts on the board. I decide to test the waters and bet three dollars. I get 2 callers. Turn comes, and I bet four. Again two callers. River comes, 3rd heart. I ignored my gut instinct that says check and fold if bet. I bet four, Williams raises me four, then I folded. Williams had the flush. Minus 15.50.
Lets see, also raised AQs to 3 dollars to have Goodson make it 8, and fold it to his JJ. Also raised JJ to 5 dollars and received no respect, so I folded on the flop when an ace hit. Otherwise, I'd say I played in almost no other hands the entire night because the cards were cold.
So, from what I've just described, minus 91.50. Won a couple pots, lost a couple pots, so other than these described, I was even.

Well me and mike had the table pretty much cleaned out til King put on some horrid beats on me and mike...(ie. calling mutliple gut shots for 14+ dollars and winning)....He basically bad beated us out of our money. We were both up like over 100 dollars and then all of sudden King decided that 35us, 45s, and J3 can not only call raises, but raise back! Reebok just bascally played consistent the whole night and wasnt on tilt as a result of King, because he never really got bad beated by him. So I guess thats how he won all his money.
Goodson
Oh yeah, and I was up a whole wonderful 8 dollars from no limit. Plus, the pot on you and king was 102.
Shit. Goodson's hand the flop was Q98. Open-ended straight draw on flop. Turns straight.

Drew, i won a fabulous 4 dollars at the no-limit game after the tourney. Remember, Mike's money is better than my own when I play. Either that or king decided to play a little smarter and not bad beat me every time i go all-in.

hey it's me rybak. i have a couple of things to say about the no-limit night and kinger. first, mike s. won $8 not $17. second everyone else lost not because kinger was putting beats on them (he lost 50???) but because you were all inexperienced at no-limit. schnieder-you were playing way too tight and weak (laying down AK preflop on a $5 bet from raper). raper plays too aggressively on hands he semi-makes, and slow plays all hands he makes, otherwise you can bet him out of anything and goodson was playing foolishly and whenever he hits a hand he acts more confused than i've ever seen king. and you guys let me have control of the table the entire night. as far as king goes he was playing loose but it that helped you in most cases and when he hit a hand he bet it. how do you think i did well against him? and he did put a few beats on me but only on the flop, i didn't take him to the river.

oh yeah and i think that other kid, nick olson i think, lost $60.
No Reebock, I was not playing too tight. I was making monster laydowns that were correct. Raper was ready to raise it to 4 dollars and Goodson was ready to make it 8 before we realized that Raper was a blind (and then Goodson decided to just make it 4). I have played with Goodson long enough to know he is holding a high pocket pair. Why would I enter a hand at any price if I know I'm an underdog drawing to him? It doesn't make sense to me when I know his hand, and I have a good idea that Raper in turn is holding AK or AQ, thus giving me even less ace outs. For all I know Goodson is holding AA or KK and I'm drawing nearly entirely dead or to two or three outs. I actually think you overvalue AK. AK is a hand you want to raise someone with, not call a raise with in no limit. If I had entered that hand you were describing when I folded AK, I am playing for the flop. I'll hit 30% of the time. That is a bad investment. Even if I do hit I still may be no good if I'm facing Goodson rockets or cowboys. I honestly was not playing tight, I was just seeing jack-shit starting hands the whole night, and I'm disciplined enough to not play them. Or, I don't enter hands I figure I'm totally dominated. Like one hand, I was a blind and folded my KJ to a dollar 50 raise. I was the only player not in on the hand, so I concluded with nearly 100% there was any of KQ, AQ, AJ, or AK out there. In fact, if I remember the hand correctly, there were two of those out there that hand. I was dominated, and I knew this. So I stayed out of a hand that would have cost me lots of money to play. Not to sound like an egotistical person, but I am quite confident that I have a lot more no limit experience than you. Poker has pretty much been the main thing in my life for 2 years, and I've played it seriously for 1.5 of those. I will admit and give you credit that yes, you probably were in the most control of the table that night.
And finally, yeah, Nick Williams -- he lost 40 from the game.
