Oh God. What is or is not part of the Doctor Who canon depends on who you ask.

If you think the New Adventures are, then yes the stuff about Looms, the Other etc is. If you don't, than it's not.

Difficult.

Begore the new series started, I would probably have said yes. Sadly last week's episode buggered a lot of the loom stuff by showing the Master as a kid. So I'd say that now while I go along with the existance of the Other, I don't buy into the Doctor being the Other reborn. I was never that keen on Susan not really being the Doctor's granddaughter anyway. Smelt a bit too much like fanboys desperate to get round the concept of the Doctor doing the deed.
