 It could come up with a different number each time it's rolled... I mean posted. Nothing like a bit of random generation. By dice, I do of course mean a smiley consisting of two (or more) die (rhymes with   ). And/or the option of a singular <die> then people could roll/post as many as they require.

In the boardgamegeek.com forums, you can just type [geekroll=2d8], for example, and get any number of dice/sides you choose...

I think if you post <die> in someone's thread, they might misinterpret it. 
Which is why I was originally proposing a <dice> smiley.
I think we'd need a <natural20> - to describe ourselves, of course  
 needs a <lost> smiley.
