Dear Dr Zen

I'm not an official volunteer, although I do do a little proofreading of Edited Entries now and then.

This Entry, Malaria A784046, was written in 2002 and may require some updating, which I am not qualified to do.

I wonder if you can find the time to cast your doctory eyes over this thread http://h2g2.com/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F52677?thread=8286787 and advise what changes you would recommend to the Entry... if any.

Well, it worked on me every time my boss handed me some 'extra' work to do. Mind you, he was the co-founder of a multinational company, and a great motivator.

Malaria has been in the news a few times lately. This is from today's BBC Online: "Malaria deaths hugely underestimated - Lancet study" http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-16854026

Can't say I'm surprised.

Thought of delegating? There are other doctors in the house...

Relax zen . I'm not here to badger you about the Malaria Entry.

I thought this would be a nice quiet place to ask a personal question.

Taking Tardyferon for a couple of months and consuming increased amounts of liver, lentils, etc, (to treat iron deficiency anemia) has revitalised me........ rather more than I had anticipated: my erections have undergone a spectacular improvement in quality and duration.

Could it be that ingesting large amounts of iron has put the lead back in my pencil?

Seriously.
