Since being sterilised after my 5th Caesarean section 4 yrs ago I have been having trouble with my periods, including irregular and heavy bleeding and severe pain. After trying numerous types of tablets to lessen the bleeding I was finally offered a hysterectomy. I was over the moon! After visiting the gynaecologist however, they have decided that due to the fact I have had so many Caesareans, they would rather not do one as I have a lot of adhesions which would make the operation complicated.(I can't see what difference it would make myself!) I have therefore been offered some laser treatment to 'burn off' the lining of my womb, which will, apparently put an end to my periods, without the long recovery period. It sounds too good to be true! I am now waiting(yet again) for my appointment to go into hospital for this treatment (whose name escapes me at present). I will write an entry about this treatment when it has been completed.
Good luck, my dear. Your gyno history sounds really bad... Please keep us informed!
Thank you for your comments and I hope my article helped.
