I had a boiled egg. Mind you - I've never been overwhelked - perhaps they would have persuaded me to change my mind......

Chocolate porridge - definitely a guilty pleasure. Especially with white chocolate. (Dark chocolate gives me "tummy trouble")

To be honest the stout taste doesn't come through the spices very strongly, but it adds a bit of richness and makes it a lovely dark colour. Think I should make some naan to go with it...

I think Guinness could work well in a kinda treacle bread...

If you want a refined cocktail to go with all this, try Guinness and condensed milk. I can't remember the ideal proportions, but I do remember getting through a lot of both trying to find out.

I've heard that's big in Jamaica - Guinness punch, they call it. Not sure I'd like it, but maybe I'll give it a go. According to google it tastes a bit like chai.

Sam Smiths do a lovely oatmeal stout. And I think the Hop Back brewery do one as well? I do like a good heavy stout now and then. Erm, I think Netherseale did an Entire Stout that was pretty chewy as well.

Entire stout is the regular stout at my local... stout and they supplement that with useually one or two other dark beers, at the moment Oscar wild Mild, but it was the oatmeal stout for a while... probably the hopback one, as they often have other hopback beer on zen drool mind, the bayjing black was rather decent too when they had that on, last summer drool blush Mind, I do like our local Milton Stout, nero stout drool when they've had that on... hmm... actually had a new Milton beer I'd not seen before a couple Sunday's ago... that was a kinda dark one too... but can't quite rmember what it was called now doh drool stout

No choc porridge today... had to use the milk up for the wholemeal rolls doh Baguettes cooking at the moment, wholemeal rolls cooling down on the cooling rack zen chef cheese cheese cheese maybe just a little* bit of baguette with some cheese for a late lunch... well... when I say little... just half a 15 inch baguette I mean... blush drool Damnit... just remembered, all out of Brie until I restock Wednesday... doh cheese
