As my last journal entry was appropriately named summer, I've gone on to carry on that tradition. No, there is no fall. And I'm not stupid, it's just that it doesn't exist. No, really, it doesn't. If you don't believe me, come to Alaska sometime, and we'll talk. Come in September/October and you'll understand without the talking.
Ok, back on topic. Winter is here with a vengeance and I have fallen deeply in love with it, yet again. There is already enough snow on the mountain for skiing and nearly enough on the ground for X-country skiing. Sledding is back in full force and Phantom is romping through the fields with reckless abandon. He and I both are loving it. The crunch of the snow unerfoot or the plopping of the masses of nearly-ice that fall from the trees are my favourite sounds, and the smell of the fresh, coolness of the air is unparalleled.
I still can't believe I get to live in this euphoria for another 7 months!!!
*shakes fist*
Gaah! You get snow! No fair!

Neener Neener Neener!!! Lots of snow, too!!!

PS What the hell is carnivore?
It's a CIA/FBI joint computer programme that is able to track the generator, recipient, and contents of pretty much any text message on the Internet.
I'm not sure if it's fully operational, but I know they've been using it in a limited capacity since 11.9
--Cooper (fearing Carnivore)
Ah!! So *that's* how they have been intending to track all of those e-mails and stuff. Honestly, I don't know how well it could work, as e-mail can be so incredibly anonymous - all you have to do is go to a local library and use their system with a hotmail account and no one could ever find you. It's just that lovely! Well, something or other.
Hey, great news: I saw Tosca on Thursday! It was magnificent!! I am completely enamoured with the opera, and am making my mum take me again. Aren't I just the sweetest child?
Shanana
Carnivore is more advanced than that, mostly because it has a complete disregard for privacy. Any text message is extremely traceable, but to trace it involves violating intellectual property, hacking, &c. laws. Of course, the US intelligence community have never been known for their scruples.
Tosca is incredible.
--Cooper (fearing Carnivore and unscrupulous intelligence agencies)
Very good point. Which is of course why I'd be a perfect candidate for the CIA... ::eg:: So I don't have any scruples...
::enourmous grin::
ALMOST LIVE's on!!! I haven't seen it in ages... Bill Nye and Pat Cashman are on it!!! ::jumps for joy::
