post most of my thoughts there, so hows it going if my memory serves me well last time we talked you were furnishing your new home in africa? somewhere. funny only thought of you when the news item re forces getting a bonus rather than extra pay when on miletry servise in the more hotter trouble spots. take it you will be popping over to lils to ay hi and get the oohs and ahs a few old faces have popped up there recently.
Mrs Seth and I have been back in Lagos for over two years now. I was never actually in the forces as such (perish the thought!), more temporarily seconded to the MOD.
Not sure about Lil's - lovely people but the backlog is a killer. Maybe the odd visiting card.
has it been two years, the beauty of lils is the backlog will eventualy be back again or redundent like seconded personel.
Hope all is well over there as not seen much mentioned in the news lately. Then again wont hear much unless its being used for political purposes or not a lot of other news.

Lagos is as surreal as ever.
I got a phone call last friday from a friend who wanted to see if I could use my contacts to help find the body of a man lost overboard in one of the creeks. Altogether we got 17 boats out looking and managed to locate 3 bodies (one shot). The one he was actually looking for didn't surface until the next day.
Probably a tasteless bit of news you could do without hearing if so many apologies.
'Name in the thread', if it's the same one, is red rose, not white. But close enough to know some relatives.
