That sounds like a fab plan, Robyn. Shall we set a time, say, two o'clock? Then we have enough time for a wander around town. The sun shouldn't set until about seven by February, so we'll have time to get up to Cliften and see the bridge etc. before the sun goes down and the drinking begins. If it already hasn't, of course...
I think that sounds like a plan. Or even a Plan perhaps Gives people time to have some lunch beforehand if they want to, or to arrive if they are coming down on the day...
It's getting quite scary now, it's like inviting strangers to a party at your house! I almost feel like I should rush around and scrub things down, dust off the rooftops and statues and make sure the rubbish bins have all been emptied
yesssss, be afraid. be VERY afraid
nah, not really
then again
If I'm honest, I dont do that much cleaning when I have visitors
It's gonna be fun! I love being in the city with different people, it's like seeing it through different eyes
Gary Gilmour's eyes There's a chilling thought
I think I done that one before and confused everyone, but I sure there's enough folks out ther old enough to remember.
looks very much like i won't be able to make it this time.
Aaaaaww! Pierce , please try!!!!!
I'll do my best, anyway
Er, I mean, I don't know whether I'll be available then, but I'll try.
It's ok, I'm not expecting international travel! (though any international travel undertaken will be gratefully appreciated of course! )
It's gonna be a fun day!!!!
I'm not sure if I'm actually able to attend, but want to keep an eye on what's happening just in case I can.

Well, depending on numbers and preferences, there will be some rambling and sightseeing, some eating and some drinking I suspect.

Did we decide on a meet time? Or shall we just go with the usual time of one o'clock?
And do we want to meet at the station, at a pub nearby, or somewhere else entirely?
How about trying to drum up a few more attendees as well?
Will you be checking into your hotel first VIP?

Hotel... um... hadn't thought that far ahead. I can't check in before two o'clock.
I'm still happy to meet at one o'clock, so long as I can nip off and check in at some point.
Shall I create a page for the meet (like the London meets etc.) so we can keep it upated without having to trawl through conversations?
As for more people - we can always put up a question on Ask and put the page A number in our names (once I'vewritten it, obviously).

Well, I figured I'd create the page - I can always delete it if we don't want it. It's here: A62465835
I'm working till 2100 and an early start Sunday morning. Have a great day everyone Look forward to the prolific conversations afterwards I'll have a and think of you all.
