This certainly looks very thorough, <BB<, thank you for writing it!

I fear I can't critique it though, owing to not knowing the area and absolute zilch about cycling. ( I lie, I passed my Cycling Proficiency Test in Junior school).

However, if ever I am in the area on a bike, I'll make sure I have a printed copy of this

I had a read through and noticed I spelt 'such' with a j. (Coincidentally, J is one of my four target letters)

Looks good, BB. I know nothing about the challenge so can't comment on the content.

My only suggestion would be to move the section on general safety and security (having lights, bike locks etc) to near the end. You talk about the challenge, then give general advice which applies to anyone using a bike in any circumstances, then back to the challenge. I think it would flow better if that was at the end.

Can I suggest a rearrangement of the opening paragraph:

The Solent Coast Cycle Challenge is a sponsored bike ride that roughly follows anti-clockwise both the north (Hampshire) and south (Isle of Wight) coastline of the Solent. Started in 2002, the event takes place annually on the last Saturday in June. It was launched as a fundraiser to benefit Hope and Aid Direct, a humanitarian aid charity that claims to 'take aid, not sides' in war zones.>>
