Subject: 'Oxford rock'?

Just like to point out that only one member of the band, Colin, went to an Oxbridge university - Ed went to Manchester, Thom to Exeter, etc. The 'Oxford connection' is that's where they actually come from.

Plus, I've never heard this expression before in my life - could you tell me where it's used?

Actually, that's probably a mistake... I was thinking "College Rock" often used to describe american bands, and got mixed up. I think I'll take oxford rock out of there.

The band all went to school together in Oxford but then went to different universities.
The headteacher of the school (I think it was St Cedds but I'm not sure) was the inspiration for "Bishops Robes" supposedly
