Subject: Long past due, a reverend greeting

No, I am not a pulp-pounding minister. The "Rev" afore of my name is a gift from the United Life Church. But it DOES set me aside from the 70+ researchers simply named "Nick".

Anyway, I have seen you uncountable times in the Forum threads, and Ask, and any number of other places that the Info page reveals. Sometimes speaking in ways that cause my teeth to grit, mostly in ways that I either nod in agreement or atleast ponder...

In briefest, I was raised Catholic, feel 'agnostic', and get seriously agitated by anyone who embeds their noggins in a concrete of any extreme. To lay a beating on anyone of any other lean. Especially to the point of seriously denigrating and viley slandering. I'm not educated, nor a great orator or deep thinker, and so for many occassions I follow Sam Clemen's idea, ... Better silent and look the fool, than open the mouth and prove it. Folks with your gift of words, opportunity and grace of thought, often speak what I would.

Okay, even briefer, ... (right...) ... I just wanna say "Hi" and thanx for speaking my mind.

Oh, and as to your PS "parting shot", ... I concur with the intent, and wish so many others could.

"Live your life so the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long, and its purpose the service of your people."

I like it, I live it, with milady.

Hi Nick, and thanks for the kind words. I know what you mean about other researchers saying what you think, but better. Dogster is always doing that to me, although not so much recently. (huh )

My 'parting shot' is just a quote, albeit one I like, so I can take credit only for placing it on my home page.

Oh no worries, I won't be "dogging" you winkeye every time you speak what I wish I could. This is, more or less, a one-off ta .

Mayhap one day, we'll have something to chat about. But for today, I see very little as a common ground. So a cheers to ya, and happy defending the unpopular opinion. laugh
